Civil Damages
Civil Money Disputes
David has 30+ years representing a large corporate client (Puget Sound Energy) in resolution of civil disputes (i.e., disputes that involve money damages). He brings that same experience to individual clients and smaller businesses. Typically, these disputes fall into one of three categories:
- Breach of Contract
- Property Damage
- Business vs. Business
David’s philosophy in dealing with civil disputes is to first determine whether it is cost-effective to pursue. David is highly skilled at determining the best course of action for his clients. What are the chances of winning? Is enough money involved? Can the desired result be obtained in a cost-effective manner? Is there enough financial gain to justify the psychological wear-and-tear involved in litigation? These types of disputes need personalized service and individual attention.
David is mainly retired. He no longer represents clients on specific cases. He will use his 40+ years of legal expertise to provide occasional legal consultation on an hourly basis. Telephone calls and emails will be returned – but not with the promptness of his prior active practice.
